Lawyer & Compliance Manager

We’re hiring Position: Lawyer & Compliance Manager.
Requirements:
• Law degree
• 1-3 years of similar experience
• English (C1/C2), fluent Russian
• Experience working with international law
• Experience in drafting contracts of various types in English
• Experience with foreign government entities
Responsibilities:
• Comprehensive legal support for the activities of the company and its affiliates, which have a business center license/license for sports consulting & agency activities, brokerage & consulting activities in the #realestate market of the Emirates and a company engaged in the provision of sports & coaching services
• Preparation of documentation for loan applications to banks, corporate issues of the group of companies, KYC and other compliance procedures
• Registration actions, interaction w/ the UAE state authorities on legal support and compliance issues of the group of companies and their partners/management
• Client/employee visas & document processing
• Obtaining licenses and monitoring their renewal, compliance with all compliance procedures and policies in the company, including in the framework of asset leasing, acquisition & construction of new assets, as well as in other projects
• Working with tenants (with the colleagues responsible for this area), monitoring public sources, judicial information, conducting disputes with tenants, participating in the support of investment and development projects
• Preparation of draft contracts, support of their conclusion and control of their execution
• Claim-based work
• Ensuring verification of documentation submitted by contractors, preparation of conclusions, preparation of protocols of disagreements in case of objections to certain terms of contracts
• Preparation of legal documentation within the framework of the company's current operating activities
• Participation in project work regarding the correction and approval of documentation prepared by employees of other departments
• Interaction with government and NGOs on obtaining, renewing licenses, permits and other documentation within the framework of the company's activities
• Performing other tasks of the Managing Partner and Head of Legal iSpace within the scope of their competence
